The drivers and crossover of the Duette style K2 systems were made available as the K2 baffle assembly for those who preferred to build their own cabinets or to mount the baffles ‘in-wall’. The ‘works’ of the K1 Monitor and K1 slimline was similarly released as the K1 baffle.

 

This commitment to providing for the home constructor was a KEF hallmark and it continued into the 1990s with numerous ‘KIT’ versions of the popular speakers in the KEF range.
