KHT 1005 (2000-03)
Following on from the success of the KHT2005 system, the new KEF 75mm (3”) Uni-Q array was used as the basis for a smaller and more affordable system, the KHT1005. It was based on the same tried and tested formula: Uni-Q technology for even sound distribution in the listening room, silver finish cast aluminium enclosures for quality feel and superior acoustic performance, and clever mechanics for ease of installation. The KHT1005 system comprised four HTS1001 satellites, one HTC1001 centre and the PSW1000 subwoofer.
KHT 5005 (2005-06)
Following the success of the KHT2005 and 1005 systems, the 5005 system offered the same high level of acoustic performance in a sleek elegant form that neatly complemented modern audio-visual equipment and home furnishings.
The satellite module was a three-way closed box system comprising two 75mm (3”) bass units either side of the established 75mm (3”) Uni-Q array. The result is a seamlessly integrated sound, evenly distributed across the whole listening area. The twin long throw woofers provide a detailed and solid bass with controlled response to integrate smoothly with the matching PSW2500 subwoofer.
The satellites could be installed with floor stands, wall brackets, or either short or adjustable height desk stands. The KHT5005 system comprised for four HTS5001 satellites, HTC5001 centre and the PSW2500 subwoofer.
