Comprehensive listings of every product produced by KEF, including every drive unit, make this the most authoritative reference work an audio enthusiast could desire. Dr. Andrew Watson's role as Head of Acoustics and Technical Communications provided him with the opportunity to research the history of KEF through its detailed archives, which forms the basis of this book. He and co-author Ken Kessler augmented the thousands of pages of printed materials, the vast photo library and the company's production business records with over 60 hours of interviews. Current and former staff members contributed their recollections to recount the entire history of the company, from its beginnings on the premises of Kent Engineering and Foundry, which gave the fledgling speaker brand its name, until today.
